Weird-and-wonderful-but-true blogs should have an emphasis on weird. How's this for weird-but-true?
Imagine having stomach pains for two years, a stomach "tumour" increasing like a 7-month pregnancy, and then 'giving birth' to an alien creature.
After my lecture in Adelaide, at a Polish friend's spiritually-decorated home, we discussed her enlarged stomach. It didn't fit any health pattern I'd heard
Here's her edited email received yesterday.
I was very sick for 2 years. It started in the tummy with occasional dull pain, then sporadic pain. Gradually the pain increased in frequency and severity.
I would rock on the floor in severe pain for hours until it eased, and then I'd be OK for 6 to 8 hours and then it would start again.
As my stomach got bigger, the pain seemed to get worse.
Eventually, the pain moved to the small intestines. I became so weak I passed out for a few hours before finally getting the pain out of my body.
I looked in the toilet, and saw a spiky creature, little, but a monster for my tummy.
The creature seemed alien. It was about 3cm long, like a caterpillar accept for fluffy fur, spikes all around, and 3 tails. Each tail had the shape of a spade card symbol on the end - like in-turned hearts. I was so surprised, I immediately flushed it down the toilet!
It had lived in my stomach - not affected by the acid! Prior to it being removed I felt it passing through my small intestine. Sharp spikes dug into the intestine walls. Eventually, after almost passing out for a few hours in a chair, I released it through the back passage! Wow.
A week after, I had different tummy pains, like sever ulcerations (lacerations?). A lovely traveller man had made an electrical healing device. Frequencies went through even the bone areas, to help heal me. Specially prepared Slippery Elm also healed me, as did powerful homeopathics, pure sulphur crystals and more.
I'm now happy and chirpy about life, especially about my new flat tummy. :-)
Please do keep in touch - love to hear from you and your adventures.
Hugs, Maj x
Om shanti...
If you're interested in spirituality, love, and your soul... if Brahma Kumaris have a group near you... if you haven't been yet, or not for a long time... may I suggest you go?
Brahma Kumaris (BKs) are a global spiritual university, honoured by the United Nations for teachings about humans and their souls. Remarkably, evening lectures, day workshops, and weekend retreats are 100% free - including yummy veggie food and 4* accommodation.
Last night I introduced four friends, Dimitri, Amanda, Robin, and Theresa to a BK lecture titled, "The Immune System for the Soul."
"Om shanti," opened a lady dressed in white, the colour symbolic of spiritual purity. Om is considered by many to mean the 'sound of the universe, or love'. Shanti usually means peace.
"Om shanti," replied some in the packed audience.
Many raised their hands to say they were newcomers.
The gist of the lecture was this:
Disease The immune system in the body consists of cells of different frequencies. When one set of frequencies / cells goes wrong, illness can develop such as cancer - unless other cells 'consciously' correct the bad cells.
Dis-ease Similarly, immune system of the soul consists of emotions of different frequencies. When one set of frequencies / emotions goes wrong, illness can develop such as anger, sadness or fear - unless love and peace can correct the bad emotions.
In other words, love and peace are not emotions - they are feelings that are free of negative emotion.
The final message last night was:
"Do something daily - for example meditation or contemplation - to free yourself of negative emotions, so you can be love and peace in action."
Om Shanti...

| At last, there's time to blog. I'll catch up a bit more later after my lecture about angelic souls...
Years ago, Kathy, one of students, was so grateful I'd helped her resolve her abusive relationship, she offered me her house, tennis courts and pool in the South of France to stay in each summer she was away. I never could. But this year, when Kathy asked me to lecture in her home in the South of France, I said yes.
A shock came at Carcassonne, France airport. It was a different Kathy!! Gosh. Who would have thought I had two English students named Kathy, both living in the South of France with tennis courts and pool!
Luckily we got on well. :-)
Kathy's 'house' is like a very long two-story farmhouse, set by itself in a green valley near wooded mountains. It's said to have the purest air in Europe. To give an idea how remote it is, it's 32 kilometres from the nearest McDonalds. Hooray!
Kathy's home is also her dream. She intends to run it as a healing and therapy retreat centre, cooking traditional local dishes from foods from local earth. She wants to show guests how to live off the land, and use local plants to heal themselves too.
Perhaps she's unconsciously helping her land prolong its history. Ruins in the grounds are where a previous order of nuns lived. Apparently they also used their (now ruined) building as a healing centre, and taught visitors how to use herbs to heal!
A circle of "sitting stones" by the ruins adds to the mystical air. One could easily imagine nuns and their converts sitting to meditate or pray in a circle! In fact, judging from the atmospheric feelings, they might still... :-)
If you know anyone who feels like a healing retreat at this mystical beauty spot in the South of France, let me know soon. Kathy is about to advertise...
Today will be one of those days. Catching up on phone calls, emails, texts and post. Organising life in Margate for when I'm not here for a week. And preparing and packing to catch the plane to the South of France. Carcassonne is a highlight of France, an ancient medieval walled city, that rejoices in its origins and original features. http://www.carcassonne.org/Over various days, I'll be lecturing on healing and Reiki subjects, psychic and mystical topics, and spiritual and angelic enlightenments. There should be time to keep you posted! Interestingly (if that's the right word?) the French government has warned that, due to predictions the world will end on Dec 21 this year, there may be mass suicides in nearby Bugarach. Many cults say Bugarach is the only place that will survive the apocalypse. So people have rushed to Bugarach and the rocky outcrop of Pic de Bugarach to join cults as converts to be saved when the end of the world comes. A French government watchdog, Miviludes, is monitoring the suicide risk and "suspicious spiritual activities". The President of Miviludes, Georges Fenech, said: "I think we need to be careful. We shouldn't get paranoid, but when you see what happened at Waco in the United States, we know this kind of thinking can influence vulnerable people." (80 people died in Waco, Texas, in 1993) Bugarach has been thought of for a long time as being magical. The local population of 200 claim their mountain is upside down - the top layers of rock are older than lower layers. Some believe it conceals a base for aliens. Others believe it conceals an underground gateway to another world. During adventures in Carcassonne, I'll visit this upside down mountain, a cult or two, and try to find the alien base :-) Then if the world hasn't ended, I'll write about it, just for you.
Olympics - someone will win soon... The British Olympics is now over, but there's an Olympic analogy for those who wish to "relieve suffering", or "make a difference"...
"Helping the world" is like becoming an Olympian - it's a tough feat of dedication and endurance. You could fail in many ways. But if you win, rewards are worth their weight in gold.
For many years I worked 16 hours a day, 7 days a week. Life was dedicated to relieve physical, emotional, mental, and soul suffering one-to-one in clinics, or to teach others in groups how to do the same. And to practice and teach therapies, and psychic and spiritual subjects. Everything aimed to "relieve suffering, or "make a difference"...
Life was ultra busy, but felt fun and easy-peasy. * Four secretaries, two housekeepers, and many support staff helped tens of thousands of patients and students. * Residential Centres in Margate and London, saw people from most countries on Earth arrive sad and leave smiling. * Requests came to open clinics and teaching centres across the globe - many still operate.
People asked how I could work so hard, why I didn't tire. Others tried to persuade me to holiday, to care for myself, to have personal fun.
Dedication to helping others is like Olympians. If you win, if you cure cancer, severe pain, depression, or a life-time of suffering... if you help students open clinics or teaching centres to help countless others... if you win, money is not important, but rewards are worth their weight in gold.
This is written because I've just had time out for myself. Not helping others felt strange, like not winning gold, like coming last in every race. But critical needs included property renovation, resolution of side effects of a drug a doctor gave me, huge family challenges, and so on. Then, for a change, to holiday in Scotland, and for the Olympics.
Perhaps it's a bit like when Olympians retire too early for personal reasons. People complain they should continue.
So I've had "complaints" I should have helped patients, such as a lady's pain (she's phoned every day, starting when I was in Scotland). Or I should have taught students Reiki (many students are waiting to study with me). Or I should have written or published more books (people are waiting for books as far afield as Sweden, UK, Hong Kong, and Australia).
I also complain about myself! :-) I could have followed up requests to teach in France, Greece, USA etc quicker. They'll still happen - it'll just take longer. For me, that means allowing suffering to exist longer too. :-(
People are quick to complain (even me about myself) and slow to praise. If there were less complaints and more praise within inter-personal relationships, the world would be a happier place.
There's a common saying, "Life is about balance". Yesterday balance came in two emails thanking me for my work.
I trust that you doing great sharing the Light and Love around you - as you have always done! Thank you again for being my Reiki Teacher!!!! That did change my life! (In ultra-positive ways.) Ula, Reiki Master, Poland
"Allan was my second Reiki teacher. To this day, he is still a great inspiration for me. If you are looking for a Reiki teacher or healing practitioner, Allan is as good as you can ever get. I have known a number of different Reiki teachers and have taught over a hundred students myself over the years. Allan always goes above and beyond what you can learn from other teachers, not to mention that he is FUN at the same time. His healing and psychic ability never ceases to amaze me. Most importantly, Allan is a true embodiment of the universal LOVE and healing energy. He has greatly accelerated my spiritual development through his teaching, advice, and examples. I cannot recommend him enough to any serious (or not so serious but fun-loving) spiritual seekers." Gloria Chan, ex-Chief Inspector of Police at Royal Hong Kong Police
Like the Olympic analogy, to "make a difference helping the world" is like becoming an Olympian - it's a tough feat of dedication and endurance. I, like others, fail in many ways. But if we win, rewards are not monetary, but are worth their weight in gold.
Last night in Los Angeles my lecture, a story titled Angels on Earth, attracted people interested in angels. But not everyone is an angel, even if they're interested or seem to be...
For example, some people are just so genetically nice, with genes that produce such love, they seem like an angel. But they're not angels, they're just genetically nice loving people.
And some people do good works in the world due to upbringing or human nature, so seem like an angel. But they're not angels - they're just doing good works as a kind human being.
Such people were present at the lecture last night. They heard the same story as others who are angels, but could not make sense of the story. The innate inner energy of their lives is different to that of angels.
But for those who are Angels on Earth, the lecture was one of beauty and happiness, tears, anger and sadness, or uncontrollable laughter of bliss. Emotions rose with remembrance of the space of ideal love, beauty, perfection and oneness they came from, but can't find on Earth.
Those people knew each other's energies. They've had similar life experiences, without understanding their lives, and the story I told of their lives made sense of their lives.
Here's a few writings after the lecture...
Julie "I feel at peace. Validated on my own soul's journey, and the work I will be doing here to help in the evolution of the human race. I never felt comfortable in my body... but I am learning to more and more. Spiritual growth / learning in this life has always had the sense of remembering what I already know... and have always known... intrinsic truths at the soul level of who I really am. Thank you for being a guide and teacher to me on this journey - I can't wait to see where it leads next! :-)"
Anthony "I felt understood. So many of the steps of life made sense and my journey was clarified. The story mapped out a life path that resonated deeply with me. From before birth to my current stage, it spoke to not just the similarities in my experiences, but to the 'whys' of everything I'd been through. I'm eager to read the book (Angels on Earth) and discover more about these truths."
Dianna "The story was relevant to me for several reasons. I always felt 'different' from others around me and never really understood why. I knew things from an early age - about feeling. I would always ask people if they could feel 'the love' in everything that I felt. But most didn't or really just didn't understand what I was talking about. I always put all my love into everything, and it was just that way. The guided meditation helped me to understand why I felt this way - and where it came from. I understand more about my purpose for life on Earth. Although some aspects of understanding brought our feelings of anger, it all made sense and gave me a peaceful feeling that everything was OK. Now I can move forward at ease. This was a beautiful and very unexpected experience. I look forward to learning more, and helping others."
And so on. After, those who felt it right stayed behind and discussed starting the first group in Los Angeles only for real Angels on Earth.
The group will a) support members on the 'lower levels' of the angelic pathway, to relieve their suffering, and enhance their lives. And b) help angels on higher platforms achieve their soul job to help humanity quicker, easier, and above all, bigger than they might have done otherwise.
If all goes well, Los Angeles will soon become an even more beautiful place.
Solstice Canyon is surrounded by marvellous mountains with valuable views. But the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean beyond Malibu on the Californian Coast, is only seen if you hike to the mountain top. So I joined a hike, with Tara as our guide. www.NatureGirlTara.comTara is gentle, sweet, and cares for hikers and trails. "You can do a 3 mile hike or an 8 mile hike. Rattle snakes love here," she said. "But they'll slither away rather than attack." "Phew, that's good," I said, A large man joined in. "You won't notice some plants stings until a few weeks later. Then you'll feel like scratching your leg to the bone." "Oh dear." "It's OK, we'll warn you," he continued. "Then there's cougars and wild cats. But they rarely attack. Heart attacks from climbing up the mountain are more common." It sounded fun. The first hike I'd ever been on. "Make sure you breath deeply," he ended. "You'll need lots of oxygen climbing up waterfalls, along streams, and over giant boulders." He was right. From the start, most of our group panted, marching up a steep path towards the mountain top. Waterfalls, boulders, streams and narrow cliff-side paths provided wonderful nature and scenes on the way to the summit. If we weren't breathless enough, breath-taking views finished us off! Except me. Breathing exercises I've taught for 20 years helped! It was fabulous. At the end I wanted to do it again. But I was the additional entertainment! We drove to a veggie restaurant, where hikers asked questions about my breathing technique! So I taught them in the restaurant. The owner and a diner joined in. Tara has a Masters degree in "exercise". The owner was a body builder. And the diner a gym instructor. Shocked expressions showed on their faces as they realised how stressed and bad their breathing was. It was my turn to explain dangers! How little they filled their lungs with oxygen... how little they expelled carbon dioxide. The problem is, even athletes and professional singers do not expand and contract their lungs enough. Diaphramatic breathing is not good enough for your health! Tara kindly emailed later with a testimonial. "What I learned from Allan J Sweeney is invaluable information. I had no idea what I am able to do with my lungs! Amazing stuff! In all my years as a fitness professional, with a Masters Degree in Exercise Science, I have never even heard of these techniques. Allan is such a beautiful presence with so much to share. Be open to his sharing and your life could change for the better!"
There's a free CD about breathing on this site. Donations welcomed though... :-) http://routenote.com/music/AllanJ.Sweeney/StressManagementforyourWholeBeing/5051813692383
Some of today's questions. Each event's questions are different
This is not a 'normal' post, it's an advert by the organisers of today's event at the Green Man in LA. And testimonials of two attendees. Because... If your group would enjoy a similar Q & A event, let me know! :-)

Sara Leedom "The class was very enlightening - I caught a glimpse into subjects leading me to want to know more. Allan J Sweeney brought his own experiences and knowledge and spoke in a way that resonated with the soul. I would definitely like to learn more from him, and encourage others to do the same."
Scott Tygett "Allan J Sweeney's workshop was richly detailed , 'hands on', inspiring and an honour. His background and studies 'clicked' with personal experiences and questions I'd been wondering about. And what a spiritual being. What a privilege."
As mentioned, if you'd like the same for your group, let me know. :-)
The 2 hour drive from San Diego to Los Angeles on the Pacific Coast Highway took 5 hours. Packed traffic jams, bumper-to-bumper cars, on seven lanes, in each direction. So I was late to teach 20 cancer patients, the Jewish cancer self-help group that initiated me into Tefillin, how to heal themselves and each other. The cancer group felt sad. Two members had died that week. Some members seemed in painful agony. If only I can help their lives a tiny, weeny bit... Alleviate some suffering... Soon they played with healing energy, electric and magnetic sensations. They created balls of energy in their hands then felt electric and magnetic energies in each other. Sadly, a few could not move their arms, they were in such severe pain. After teaching how to self-heal they healed each other. Some had such terrible pain they could hardly move or speak. Persons scored their pain out of 10, where 10 is worst possible, and 1 is no pain at all. Results were astonishing. In minutes, one person shouted in glee that their pain was at zero for the first time for months. Everyone clapped. Over the next few minutes, others shouted happily their pain had gone too. Everyone clapped. Again and again... Two patients’ pains remained terrible. One had been operated on, could not talk, with severe pains in neck and shoulders. I guided his ‘healer’ to heal differently, until the pain disappeared. He couldn’t believe he was pain free. Everyone was soooo pleased for him... The worst pain was in a lady with stage 4 cancer, expected by doctors to be terminal, to die. Her face contorted in agony when she tried to move her arms. Such a tough case... so I healed her myself. Within minutes, her pain reduced to zero. She couldn’t believe it, and waved her arms in the air with a huge grin. Everyone left pain free and smiling! Yippeee. Perhaps this success teaching healing to the Jewish cancer group could be repeated in other groups around the world? If you’re a healer, it might be worth trying...?
