"Throughout my reading life, some books had their unique acquisition story that was a little bit unordinary. Those books would usually end up as my favorites. Secrets of Angels on Earth was one of them. It fell in my hands in a way that seemed like a mistake at first.

"Allan J. Sweeney, the author, started group meetings that he called "Angel Parties." This book is an account of the two-day lecture he gave in his first "Angel Party." These meetings have some rules for attending, which you can learn about from the book. I feel the book's contents are best discovered on an individual basis when each reader dives into this remarkable world. However, I will briefly introduce what the book is about. 

"Angels live among us. The author believes that angels choose to get reincarnated as humans for some reason. Additionally, some humans are "angels-to-be," and some are just "normal" people. The book tells the "Angel Story," and all the aspects it includes. This story explains the different stages of life, the specific struggles we face, the reasons behind the feelings of unease, suicidal thoughts, and other related issues. You'll read about bio-location, astral travel, signs, and angel paths.

"I can't just pick one thing that I liked about the book. The whole of it was a gift to me. The author mentions a term called "Signposts." These are signs given to us to point to the right way. For me, I found some of those signs just by reading the book. What I deeply appreciated were the messages I received, the lessons I learned, and the people I knew about. Learning about wings and the associated pain in the shoulder blades was one thing that stood out for me.

"There's nothing that I disliked about the book. However, I think that some parts would've been better communicated if they were in the form of bulleted points. This doesn't suggest by any means that the messages were inadequately communicated. It's just that the long speech needed some breaks along the way for a simpler reading flow. 

"I give Secrets of Angels on Earth by Allan J. Sweeney 4 out of 4 stars. The points mentioned previously and the professional editing of the text granted the book this rating. The content is precious and well structured, the text is clear, and the cover design is ideal.

"The author explained at length who should read the book and who shouldn't. Also, it is important to mention that you'll only know if this book is suitable for you or not after reading the first few sections. Nevertheless, it is more than beneficial for everyone to read it. Whether or not to apply it to your life is another decision. In the appendices, the author helps you with this as he describes what to do in case you didn't relate to the content. I can only add that readers with an interest in spirituality, angels, or purpose will cherish this book deeply. However, to those who are skeptical, you can still give it a read. It has valuable life lessons that anyone can benefit from. There is always a need. People may need a kind chat at a supermarket checkout, a joke to cheer an unhappy face, or a hug. Or, instead of waiting to give expected gifts at Christmas or a birthday, give small unexpected gifts now. 

A personal favourite is visiting a local farm, to pick the first crop of fresh raspberries, juicy cherries, etc, and distribute to friends and neighbours. It's amazing how much joy a small, unexpected gift brings. They often talk about it a long time after.

By bringing happiness to others, we bring angelic love to Earth.  

International Be An Angel Day is also a day to thank those who have been angels to us. Maybe in the past someone has listened to your troubles, helped in an hour of need, or supported a friend without wanting or receiving thanks. Maybe someone loaned you money, and is waiting patiently for you to pay it back. 
August 22 is a day to bless these kind souls, to recognise you must not just take. Give prayerful thanks they entered your life. Find ways to return the help. 

Honoring someone who helped your life is a blessing for your soul, for humanity, and for loving, angelic people who do much good work, unrecognised.

What is less discussed is how old our professions are, and how that impacts attitude.

Doctors have developed to their current form over a few hundred years, ever since the explosion of science, chemicals, immunology etc. 

During that time in the UK, healers were banned by the Witchcraft Act of 1735.

In 1948 Helen Duncan was imprisoned as a witch. 

And it was only in 1951 the Witchcraft Act was repealed.

So...
Spiritual healing only started about 60 years ago. 
Reiki only came to the UK less than 30 years ago.

It should not be too surprising then, that doctors' 300-year old scientific approach is more highly regarded than than healers who have only operated for 10 - 20% of that length of time.   

What is needed is evidence. Healers and Reiki practitioners need to keep records. Patients' conditions and symptoms can be assessed. What is the score of the health problem before and after each session, and the comments about how it feels before and after each session, and the limitations to their life before and after each session? 

For example, before therapy a patient has back pain with a score of 8 out of 10, it feel like 12 knives stabbing, and they can't bend more than 30 degrees. 
After the therapy if the back pain has a score of 4 out of 10, it feel like 6 knives stabbing, and they can now bend 60 degrees, that's a 50% improvement with three measures that validate each other. 

Allan J Sweeney helps students assess patients with special forms, to validate patient outcomes.

That is how to become recognised as being as professional as doctors.

And more and more healers and Reiki practitioners can then work with clinics and hospitals around the world.

The answer is a loud, "YES!"

A tragedy of the English language is that we only have one word for love. Other languages such as Sanskrit have one word for the LOve of god, and other different words for other types of love.

The book, "Secrets of Angels on Earth, an Amazon Number 1 pre-order Best Seller, showed Sanskrit examples:
​- devotional love (anurakti) 
- fond love (anurudh)
- state of being in love (anuragitA) 
- unsuccessful love (anasAda) 

But most languages have only one word for love. Is it any wonder we get confused as to what love means?

Many years ago, when trying to type the word love, if I were typing about normal love of humankind, the word would appear on the screen as ‘love’. But if I typed about divine love, no matter how hard I concentrated, the word would come on to the screen as ‘LOve’.

One day, I held my fingers over the keyboard, and typed, ‘What is the difference between the spelling of love and LOve?

Immediately my fingers went stiff as they flew across the keys. Peace filled the room, as if high angels had taken my hands.

This is the channelling on LOve and love...

‘Many people will ask, ‘Why do you spell love, LOve?’
‘First and foremost this is a wonderful god-given opportunity to teach of true, highest, perfect god-LOve. It will make many people think. Initially they will consider it a spelling mistake. Soon they will realise it is not.

‘When they realise the word ‘love’ is sometimes spelt ‘LOve’, they will wonder why. This will help earthly thoughts unconsciously focus onto different types of love – especially the differences of human loves and godly LOve.

‘Then explain the lettering to intrigue and evolve their higher thoughts.

‘L... Always use a capital L to underline the important difference of the LOve of god compared to human loves.

‘O... Always use a capital O to portray the circular, all-embracing, never-ending, universal nature of the LOve of god compared to human love.

‘ve... And you need a small ‘v’ and a small ‘e’ to make the capital ‘L’ and capital ‘O’ obvious and more important.’

At last I'm returning to do what my soul is here for, to focus on bigger projects to relieve suffering of ill health, to teach and enlighten souls on their journeys, and to generally help others in whatever need, wherever and whenever possible. 

Last night was my first 2-hour appearance on PulseTalkRadio. The show's presenter, Russ, assisted by Joe, discussed the "unexplained" mystical side of life.

Topics were wide-ranging, from how Reiki heals, to clairolfaction, earth angels, and spiritual lessons.

I loved listeners' questions. They were so varied, and surpriosingly most questions are answered in my latest book, "Secrets of Angels on Earth." For example...

"Is there a reason many earth angels become alcoholic?" 
"Yes, to escape from the 'horrors' of the world that do not match their memory of real love."

"Why do many angels on earth have bad relationships, but try to help the other person?'
"It's a lesson that hopeless cases can't be helped, even by an angel's love. When the earth angel reaches their soul destiny helping many, many people, they won't waste time on one hopeless case. Instead they will help the vast majority."

They suffer for years, without adequate relief. Doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists can't help. In worst cases, even hospitalisations in mental wards can't help. Yet simple solutions may have been possible.

I had one such case today. A woman in her 30s had mental illnesses for 15 years. Periods in and out of a mental hospital had not helped. She was on antidepressants and antipsychotic pills. Her father called me in desperation.

It took minutes to discover the cause. Just a few questions were needed. 
Q. "How long have you experienced mental problems?"  
A. "About 15 years."

Q. "Did you ever have mental problems before 15 years ago?"
A. "No."

Q. "In the few years before 15 years ago, did you have any shocks or traumas."
A. "Yes. My mother left when I was two years old. Fifteen years ago we met twice and had a lovely time. I was looking forward to having a mom. Then she was murdered."

It's no wonder, I thought, she'd suffered mental problems. The shock of losing her mother for the second time had put her into a severe period of grief, bereavement. Grief can last years for some people. Many different mental symptoms can arise.

Q. "Did you ever tell this to a doctor or hospital psychologist?"
A. "No. They never asked." 

It's tragic. Lives of many people are destroyed for years by drugs, and lack of understanding that all they needed was therapy to help them through their process of grief.

I started bereavement therapy. At the end of the session, the lady said, "I feel lighter, like a weight has been lifted off me." 

Many others around the world suffer because they were not asked that simple question, "What happened in the few years before you had mental problems."]]>Wed, 11 Aug 2021 11:53:31 GMThttp://www.allansweeney.com/blog/the-life-and-love-end-of-a-roadLife and love take us on journeys we may not have chosen if we'd known the outcome. The end of any road, relationship, work, where to live, whatever... any ending can feel traumatic, like a dead end, leaving feelings of being alone and isolated.

But perhaps there's a Secret you don't know about yet. Maybe the end of a road leads to the start of another. Certainly, if the past is released and accepted as "just a part of life and love", and if you then look out for and act on angelic signs, an angelic road can begin.

Your angelic road will take you on the most beautiful journey you can imagine.

Let life and love happen, for all can eventually be amazingly wonderful. ​]]>Thu, 30 May 2013 12:24:13 GMThttp://www.allansweeney.com/blog/soul-successWhen Guus Ellenkamp asked me to write an article titled “Soul Success”, I agreed at once. For me, it’s the only type of success that’s important. All other types of success are human successes, that satisfy earthly existence, human lives, selfish wants, ego. Soul Success is far more important than human success, for only the soul has a contract to be fulfilled, a destiny to be achieved as a job of work for our planet.  

In other words, you can gain all the success in life your sweet human heart hopes for, but if you don’t find success for your soul’s purpose on earth, you may have wasted your life.

Perhaps worse, after death, if you still need to achieve Soul Success, you may have to return to Earth and try again. Not such a nice thought for those who’ve had not such nice lives...

So the question is, how to tell the difference between achieving human goals and Soul Success?

A simple question, but too complicated with too many answers for this article. Which is why I wrote a book about it, with website too. The book “Angels on Earth” is on www.allansweeney.com - the website is www.angelsonearth.info

Obviously I’m going to say, if you need Soul Success as opposed to achieving human goals, you need the whole book, not just this article. But here's some clues.

The book describes the life of someone being driven by Soul Success, from before birth, to after death. It shows that no matter what country you live in, what family you’re from, what religion you have, what beliefs you promote, if you have a need for Soul Success, your life will follow a similar energetic pattern to other Soul Success seekers.

The big clue is this – Soul Success depends on age. You can probably realise that if someone has a big job of work to achieve for their soul on Earth, they are unlikely to achieve it before they are 5. They haven’t had enough life experiences to be able achieve Soul Success in the first 4 or 5 years of life.  

Similarly, Soul Success seekers probably can’t achieve Soul Success as a teenager, or even in their 20s or 30s.  I often say to someone in their 20s, “You are a Baby Adult!” They usually look surprised, until I explain that less than 10 years ago they were considered to be a child, and 10 years isn’t long to learn everything about being an adult.

Someone in their 30’s is a teenage adult, as far as Soul Success is concerned. They’ve been through some of life’s problems, and put their version of understanding onto those problems, to try to make sense of being an adult on this planet. But as a teenager adult, they still haven’t understood what it’s all about yet. So although they may be achieving human goals, they are unlikely to be achieving Soul Success. 

When someone reaches their 40s, if Soul Success is part of their destiny, it becomes a force within that needs love and inspiration to break away from old habits and achieve soul needs. It’s a time of desperation, depression, anxiety, etc for some, as unconsciously they fear they may not achieve their inner needs, the needs of Soul Success. It’s a time of wonder for others as they progress to beauty and happiness as they begin to fulfil the dreams emanating from the love of their soul.        

In their 50s, most people who have a deep feeling within that a destiny must be achieved on Earth have had so many life experiences they will consciously know what their Soul Success was, or can be. (Except those who are mentally or emotionally incapable.) This is a time for rejoicing. Inspiration has come at last. 
This is a wonderful time of bliss and happiness, with similar loving soul friends. Soul Success is part now, not just of the soul, but of humanity too.    

Naturally, nothing is for everyone. Some people are not destined to achieve a Soul Success in this life. Others who do have a Soul Success destiny, will achieve it faster or slower than the guidelines I've given. And some people may not achieve their destiny at all, at least, not in this life. 

Each decade has lessons to be learned from life's experiences. Until those lessons have been learned, it's energetically impossible to move on to the next lessons, in the next decade. The vast majority learn their lessons automatically, unconsciously, without even realising they've learned their lessons, or what the lessons were. So there's no need to be worried, fearful, or anxious. But for those who need more logical guidance, more conscious understanding, that's why I wrote a 300 page book. :-)

The important thing is this - we are tiny specks, unseeable to most of the universe. Your Soul Success is only the beginning of a longer, more beautiful journey. Take the pressure off yourself, and enjoy the ride. :-)
