Recently in Austin, Texas, teaching healing to friends, everyone followed instructions brilliantly. But the energy of a young Chinese man was different.
'What were you doing,' I asked after we'd finished.
'You asked us to think of a gold colour to heal with,' he said.
'Yes, according to the bio-physicist Valerie Hunt, that's one of the highest frequencies of thought and being, over 7,200 cycles per second, and can help you feel happier, higher, more spiritual or Godly.'
'I don't like gold,' he replied. 'I was taught in Tibet to heal myself with black and red.'
Hmm. My friends had invited him over because he's mentally ill. They asked me to help him... 'Black and red are two of the lowest frequencies,' I said. He looks blank. 'It's the colours most people see if they see devils.' He still looks blank. 'It's the colours some people see if they're depressed, angry, or mentally ill. Have you felt depressed, angry or mentally ill?'
He ignored my question about being mentally ill and changed tack. 'Black is useful. I've got a big black hole in me. They told me in Tibet it sucks bad energy out.'
Oh dear, an attack. "No, a black hole sucks good energy away. Black holes are used in black magic, by evil covens to control and destroy.'
'They wouldn't do that. They're Buddhists, and they're in Tibet, a place full of Light.'
'Where there is Light, dark tries to overpower. Anyway, I've never heard of Buddhists teaching to heal with black and red.'
'Well...' He thought for a moment. 'They're a new group.'
Maybe that's it, a new group of baddies, set up to destroy Light. 'When did your mental illness start?'
He thought again. 'A short while after I started using black and red colours to heal me, and the black hole to take away my badness.'
That's it probably, cause and effect. 15 minutes of hard talk and energy work later, he understood. The black hole had sucked out his Light, and he'd replaced Light with yucky blacks and reds that damaged him energetically and made him mentally ill.
'I understand,' he said, as I finished off a technique to remove the black hole.
'I hope so. I'll pray your mental illness doesn't return. This world needs more spiritual awareness of bright golden love and Light, including from you and me.'
