Doctors get away with murder. Did you know that laws in some countries prohibit anyone saying they help illnesses unless they're a medical doctor? Even in the UK, laws "protect the patient" against "bad" therapists.
Let's get some balance here. How many people do you know were damaged by bad doctors? How many people do you know where doctors gave them bad advice, inappropriate treatment, or wrongly prescribed drugs. How many people do you know where doctors caused damage indirectly through drug side effects, or directly by botched operations?
