We keep hearing anti-biotics won't work in 20 to 30 years time, because of overuse. In worst case scenarios, millions will die, and this planet will be "once again ruled by bacteria".

Third world countries are often blamed for overuse, for being able to buy antibiotics over the counter. But around the world, doctors routinely prescribe broad spectrum anti-biotics - often without having the faintest idea what bacteria or virus they're prescribing for!!!!!
No wonder so many bacterial infections return, and bacteria are learning how to resist. They're not being killed off fast enough to stop them learning!
Every week I hear Facebook and other friends say their infection hasn't cleared even after doctors try different antibiotics. Hell...!
And multiply these friends by the millions of similar cases there must be around the world every day. Even more hell...!!
Mis-prescribing by doctors is creating hell for the patient who suffers while doctors guess what antibiotic they need, and a hell on earth where bacteria may one day rule.
Here's an idea...
Next time you get an infection, ask to have it tested in a lab BEFORE the doctor prescribes antibiotics, to discover which of the many antibiotics will kill ALL your bacteria quickest and easiest.
That way we'll all take less anti-biotics, and bacteria won't so quickly become immune to them.
Lab tests for everyone might cost more in the short term, but less in the long term if it prevents countless diseases and deaths in 20-30 years.
Don't let the doctor make bad guesses for your health - and the health of the world.
