Our fortnightly reiki sharing groups are yummy. We visit a reiki practitioner's home, have a guided tour, then share energy, techniques, experiences, knowledge, and food. We used to share snacks. But each host seems to outdo the previous. The snacks are slowly becoming a fortnightly yummy banquet.
Yesterday we toured Linda's home, typical of a reiki therapist. Bedspreads have love heart designs, and ornaments are delicate Japanese. You can feel the love, peace and healing that Reiki practitioners usually bring to their homes.
Before dinner, we shared Reiju. I say this humbly - in the late 1990s I was the first Reiki Master to be invited to Japan to be Honorary President of Japanese Reiki. I lectured at the inaugural meeting of Japanese Reiki Masters in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. But that's another story...
Hiroshi Doi Sensei, famous in the Reiki world, taught me Reiju. Japanese Masters share Reiju each time they meet, as soon as they meet. It's a simple pre-healing technique, designed to release negative energy, bring a new energy the person might need, and re-energise and reconnect the new energies along meridians.
Everyone felt the beauty of Reiju, deep within.
During Linda's YUMMY slow-cooked beef and Caribbean chicken dishes (which were a challenge for next month's host to improve on!), Andrew said, "This morning, I saw a man arrive at work with a red aura. I knew he'd have an accident. Minutes later, his fork lift truck smashed into stacks of boxes, squashing red tomatoes everywhere."
"Have you had visions of future events before?" I asked.
"Yes, many times."
"I know others who see negative futures. But Andrew, only the past is definitive. The present is flexible, and future visions are potentially, maybe, perhaps. The future is not set in stone. What are some of your visions?"
"I knew a man would fall off his bike. I could have made him slow down but didn't, and minutes later, he fell."
"And... any more...?"
"There's too many. I know I should warn the person, to stop the bad outcome, but I don't." Andrew hung his head low.
"That's not to be ashamed of," I reassured. "There's a 3-stage process. First, everyone must recognise they have a gift! Second, they must want to use that gift to help others. Third, they need techniques. You have all three. You see visions of events that occur within minutes. If you appropriately warn the other person, you'll help to heal our world."
Andrew nodded.
"Your visions are simple at present," I said. "But other negative visions need other techniques to help them. Let me know if you have a vision you can't help..."
We finished the food off, then finished the evening off with distant healing for a lady with breast cancer. Many cancer cases are cured with special techniques. We'll discuss whether the breast cancer, and the latest future visions were healed, over our next banquet.
