In the steam room were two people and silence. The man aged about 40 in bright yellow trunks, and the lady about 30 in a black bikini sat as strangers, without talking. It felt awkward, as if they'd like to talk. "What do you do," I asked the man. Most people love talking about what they do...
"I'm in finance," he replied. "A banker. What do you do?"
I explained I simply try to help people with therapies, and teach and write books.
"What books?" he asked.
"Cross genre. Therapies, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and.. " I turned to the lady and gave her a meaningful look, "books about angels like you."
"Can you help stress?" the man asked, ignoring the comments about angels. "I'm in the Steam Room because I'm trying to slow down. I'm too stressed."
Amongst clouds of steam I guided him through a simple assessment that confirmed he was severely stressed. "My CD should help," I said, and explained that on courses, if students buy my anti-stress CD and it doesn't work for someone ever, they can have 10 times their money back. After selling thousands of CDs, including to medical professionals, so far no-one has asked for their money back. Some medical doctors even used it in their surgeries. "But we've met here," I said, "so maybe it's Destiny. You can have the CD for free."
He smiled a grateful thanks. "I've got problems as well," the angelic looking lady said. "Mine are emotional. Can you help me?"
She seemed like an angel, lost in the mire of humanity.
Today is busy, so part 2 of the sauna saga, "The Angel in the Steam Room" will be tomorrow :-)
